Besides Research

I never identify myself as a “pure CS student.” I’m a bit “artistic” - reflected in my pursuit of aesthetics (including this personal website, where I did some custom design rather than using the original template :), as well as in my hobbies. I firmly believe in all-round development.

I’m an amateur pianist who started my journey at the age of 7. I once dreamed of becoming a professional pianist, but after failing to get into the Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, I let go of that dream and ended up in STEM. Despite the frustration, my love for piano has never faded. I have performed at many concerts both on and off campus. For me, piano is not merely a hobby - it’s a way of life. My ultimate dream is to perform Rachmaninoff’s 3rd Piano Concerto - one of the most demanding masterpieces in the repertoire - with a professional orchestra!
